Our full program spans 2 terms, but join us whenever you like! The more terms the better – really learn and know the songs and their dance moves!

The Toddler Tap Time full program design extends over a duration of 2 terms. We introduce a new musical concept every week through the class focus song and specific class designed activities. While the program design builds on knowledge and concepts from the previous weeks, we welcome you at any stage of the term / program.
We focus on learning through having fun, all whilst learning music and improving our rhythm, dexterity, and coordination.
Every toddler must attend with a parent/adult who will be their partner for the class, giving a wonderful opportunity for bonding through learning quality time. Each adult has the flexibility to tailor our activities to what level and concentration is achievable for each toddler on a given day – we understand that all kids have different days, especially if they’re going through a milestone week!
Enrolling in two or more terms will ensure you experience the full program and gain the benefit of class familiarity and friendship. This allows a natural and gradual increase in the coordination and dexterity for the activities. It also improves the singing / language development and conceptual ability and knowledge retaining of your little learner too!
Complete the full program at least twice and your toddler will be raring to go when you transition them into individual music classes and/or music group classes!

A full term of weekly classes for how many weeks are in the term. Full payment for term required at booking, x2 catchup classes allocated to each term.

Toddler Tap Time is the product of a passionate dream to create solid and early foundations for toddlers.
Over the last 12 years, Rose has seen the ability and knowledge absorption of the students who start individual music classes during the peak of their musical window!
She dreamed of creating a class that harnessed the learning ability and styles of toddlers, to give them a solid start in the world of music, all while giving them a fun class to attend with their adult.
The classes are interactive and fun, with a goal to create wonderful memories while learning essential foundations of musical knowledge!
Well, we all know just how amazing music is for the brain, particularly for the young brain that is growing in conceptualisation and perceptions. (You can read can read more about that here).
This class is fun and gives your kids a knowledge they won’t get in any other toddler class!
With every week, the new songs will be available to sing along with at home – your toddler will gain knowledge they don’t even realise they have!
Along with all this foundational musical knowledge, we’re also creating a body awareness and coordination nice and early that is essential for music.
We know having a toddler with a younger sibling can keep you busy, so we welcome the younger siblings into the class & class leaders will support you to get the special 1:1 time with the enrolled student.
The early learner foundations of Toddler Tap Time enable an easy transition into the world of music and private music classes.
These songs become the backbone of teaching and linking the musical concepts that are essential components to any musical introduction.
We use these songs as we show the student how each concept directly relates to the piano. Then, when they are developmentally ready to link concepts, we show them how each musical concept fits together when playing and learning the piano!
While you may have other instruments that you want your toddler to head towards – the piano is the most well-rounded instrument to start any child on.
This is because they are learning the entire spectrum of musical knowledge, as well as a level of hand/eye/brain coordination that few other instrument or activity gives; this is due to the fact that both hands end up doing separate things as we progress further in experience.
